Read the instruction manual for a step by step explanation. Wrap the cuff around your upper arm with the illustrations facing outward. Keep 1 inch between the crook of your elbow and the cuff. Position the tube on the lower end of the inner side of your arm, aligned with your pinky. The cuff should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to insert 1 finger between the cuff and your arm.

When the device is off, press and hold the “arrow up” button until the screen shows the flashing user ID. Press the “arrow up” button again to switch users. After selecting the user ID. Press the “arrow down” button to confirm your choice.

When the device is off, press and hold the “arrow down” button until the screen turns on and the date starts flashing on screen. Press the “arrow up” button to change the year. Each press of the “arrow up” button will increase the number by 1. When you’ve reached the correct year, press the “arrow down” button to confirm the year and turn to setting the month. Repeat this action until time and date is set.

The blood pressure monitor shuts down automatically after a short period of inactivity.

Moving while measuring, including talking while measuring, will influence your results. Measure your blood pressure again if the “motion detect”-icon appears on screen.

Thanks to this port you can connect the blood pressure machine to a power source. This way you don’t need to use batteries. The cable is not included, but most modern smartphones use the same cable, so you probably already have it at home.
